Today, January 27, Nima Energy inaugurated its new charging station at Stigs Center, Importgatan 1 in Hisings Backa, Gothenburg. The station is equipped with five 300 kW chargers, providing a total of 10 charging points. This marks Nima’s first station in the Gothenburg area and is part of the company’s broader initiative to develop a connected network of ultra-fast charging stations across Västra Götaland.

The new station at Stigs Center is strategically located close to the city with direct access to the E6 highway, making it easily reachable for both local traffic and through-traffic passing through Gothenburg. The station is designed to meet high standards of accessibility and reliability, catering to professional traffic, transport operators and taxis, as well as other users who need fast and dependable charging in everyday travel.

“This is an important milestone for Nima Energy in Gothenburg. Our ambition is to make fast charging simple, reliable and accessible for everyone,” says Marcus Landelin, CEO of Nima Energy. “Stigs Center is a perfect location that serves both local traffic and drivers passing through, and we look forward to continuing our expansion in western Sweden.”

The development was carried out in collaboration with Stigs Center, the property owner, and was made possible through cooperation with Göteborg Energi.

Nima already operates one of the largest charging networks in the Stockholm region, with 62 ultra-fast charging points. The company’s goal is to build a total of 1,250 charging points in the Nordic region, with the next station planned to open in Kungsbacka.
